This course will introduce students to the basic concepts and current trends in the science and practice of agroforestry systems in temperate and tropical regions. Through a series of introductory lectures, students will cover basic concepts, principles and drivers related to agroforestry practices. Subsequently, a series of guest speakers from different backgrounds will develop seminars focusing on context-specific agroforestry case studies from a multidisciplinary and innovative perspective.
